Surfing and things

The angel on my right shoulder says "you must be crazy". The devil on my left shoulder says ... count me in on the surfing!
to think that my first surfin' experience will be in the UK - go figure!
Someone has told me you have to do something quite unladylike once in your wetsuit to keep yourself warm. Can someone enlighten me as to whether this is true??
